I’ve always believed that stories can spark change.
And while I started my career as a copywriter crafting stories designed to convert, over the years, my work has grown into a calling: to help brands uncover their purpose, clarify their voice, and use storytelling as a strategic force for good.
That calling has shaped not only my personal ethos and how I move through the world, but also the kinds of brands I’m drawn to partnering with professionally.
Brands that step up. That show up. That speak out — even when it’s risky. Because doing the right thing, the human thing, shouldn’t be radical. But it often is.
It’s why I’ve long felt a quiet kinship with one of my favorite writers: Emily Dickinson.
A poet with a pen. A strategist with a keyboard. Dickinson and I are separated by centuries, but bound by belief — that words can be a form of care. And a kind of courage that can inspire hope, purpose, and protest.
When she put those words to paper, Dickinson couldn’t have fathomed how today, there would be fainting robins everywhere:

🪶 Communities pushed to the margins, fighting just to live, love, and be heard
🪶 The planet itself, scorched and gasping, suffocating under our watch
The ache is everywhere.
Fear.
Injustice.
Heartbreak dressed up as normalcy.
And yet. Even in a world fraying at the edges, there are brands bringing hope.
They're showing up on the ground, rallying us through exhaustion, and inspiring real change.
In other words, they're building nests. 🪺
Spaces where people can retreat to feel safe, seen, and supported. Where they can heal, grow, resist — and eventually, fly.
That’s the kind of work I want to be part of.
